Every member of our team is hand-picked by Dr. Hackbarth, who insists
on hiring professionals who demonstrate competence, caring and,
most of all, integrity. He believes that a person's trustworthiness
and commitment to excellence are every bit as important as his or
her technical skills.
We survey our patients regularly, and the words that come up most
often to describe our staff are "kind," "gentle,"
"thoughtful," and "friendly." The staff is very
talented technically and because we have worked together a long
time, we've developed an easy rapport that helps treatment go more
smoothly. Patients tell us they can sense this, and relax in the
knowledge that they're in good hands.
JoAnn
After 21 years teaching elementary school, JoAnn has decided to join us full time as our office manager. She has worked with the Invisalign Basic Training Camp, traveling around the country with Dr. Hackbarth as he and Dr.Willis Pumphrey give seminars to other dental teams on improving their results with Invisalign and cosmetic dentistry. During her spare time JoAnn enjoys entertaining, decorating, a wide variety of music, and various crafts. She also enjoys participating in many organizations within the community, including serving as an elected member of the Texas City I.S.D. school

Esther
Esther is our Registered Dental Hygienist. She received two Associate's degrees in Applied Science and Dental Assisting, Esther is a member of the ADHA, TDHA, and BADHS. She has been in the field of dentistry for 15 years.
Esther is married to her wonderful husband Timothy & they have a dog named Bandit. In her spare time Esther plays rollerderby. |

Adam
Adam joined our office after completing his Bachelors of Science in
Mathematics. He also has worked with the Invisalign Basic Training Camp, traveling
around the country with Dr. Hackbarth and Dr.Willis Pumphrey as they give
seminars to other dental teams on improving their results with Invisalign
and cosmetic dentistry. He deals with financing for patients, and is our
insurance company contact person. If you would like information on
financing options, give him a call. We have many financing options that fit
a wide variety of life styles.
Adam enjoys developing and designing software, making digital design
layouts, and creating illustration/graphic artwork during his spare time. |

Stephanie
Hello I'm Stephanie, I am 25 years old and have been a
member of Dr. Hackbarths wonderful team for four
years now. I am the receptionist/New Patient Coordinator
here at the Dental Cosmetic Center-Bay Area, and I will be
happy to assist you with any questions or concerns you may
have regarding your dental visit. I enjoy going to
all the Continuing Education Courses that are offered, and
think learning is something that we should do daily.
I love spending time with my boyfriend Justin, & my friends and
family. I also like shopping, cooking, reading, and photography. |

Jan
The newest member of the staff, Jan Abbott, has come on board as the hygiene coordinator and may be calling you soon to get you on the schedule to have your teeth cleaned. She also is instrumental in building the monthly newsletter and enjoys helping patients better understand their dental insurance policies and benefits. In her off time, she works with young girls in the local softball community teaching them how to pitch. She is married with three children and one precious grandchild.. |

Ashley works at our office part time, filling in as needed. Most of the time
you will find her handling filing, but occasionally she will help out chairside.
Ashley is a full time college student and a semi-professional harpist. During her
spare time she enjoys listening to music and watching movies. |

Michelle is a Registered Dental Assistant with over 10 years experience. She is married, and she and her husband David have three children. Michelle has the unusual hobby of playing roller derby, and is part of the Southside Roller Derby League. She also enjoys relaxing and hanging out with her family. |
