Every member of our team is hand-picked by Dr. Hackbarth, who insists on hiring professionals who demonstrate competence, caring and, most of all, integrity. He believes that a person's trustworthiness and commitment to excellence are every bit as important as his or her technical skills.
We survey our patients regularly, and the words that come up most often to describe our staff are "kind," "gentle," "thoughtful," and "friendly." The staff is very talented technically and because we have worked together a long time, we've developed an easy rapport that helps treatment go more smoothly. Patients tell us they can sense this, and relax in the knowledge that they're in good hands.
JoAnn
After 21 years teaching elementary school, JoAnn Hackbarth has joined our team as an office manager. She is deeply embedded in our community, where she established her teaching career and serves on the Texas City ISD School Board. She truly enjoys seeing our patients’ smiling faces year after year. After hours, JoAnn loves entertaining, decorating, listening to a wide variety of music, and craft projects.
Esther
Esther is our Registered Dental Hygienist. She received two Associate degrees; one in Applied Science and another in Dental Assisting. Esther is a member of the ADHA, TDHA, and BADHS, and she’s called dentistry her career for nearly 20 years. Esther is married to her wonderful husband Timothy, and they have a dog named Bandit. In her spare time, she plays Roller Derby.
Adam
Adam joined our office after completing his Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. He deals with financing for patients and is our insurance expert. If you would like information on financing, give him a call. We have many financing options that fit a wide variety of life styles. Away from work, Adam enjoys developing and designing software, making digital design layouts, and digital graphic design and illustrations.
Ashley
Ashley works at our office part time, filling in as needed. She takes care of our filing and occasionally she will help Dr. Hackbarth chairside. Ashley is a full-time college student and a semi-professional harpist. Aside from playing her instrument, she enjoys listening to music and watching movies.
Robin
Hi I am Robin, Dr. Hackbarth’s head dental assistant, and I have 34 years of dental assisting experience. I worked for Dr. Hackbarth previously 22 years ago, and I have enjoyed being back and learning all the new technologies and procedures he has added to his practice. I have been married 36 years. My husband and I enjoy doing BBQ cook-offs. I also enjoy bowling, camping, and cooking for my family. I have two children and four grandkids.
Rosanna
Hello, I am Rosanna your recall coordinator. I love to interact with patients on a daily basis, and help make their experience extra special. In my free time I enjoy being outdoors, shopping, and spending time with my family and friends.
