Why Did You Decide to
Become a Dentist?
Dr. Hackbarth actually grew up with a dentist for a father, and ever since he can remember, the man was encouraging him to follow in his footsteps. While Dr. Hackbarth wasn’t especially interested at first, he eventually agreed to take the dental aptitude test. Imagine his surprise when they got the results back and he’d scored an 8 on one part and a 9 on the other! He thought he’d done horribly at first, only for his dad to let him know that the test was graded from 1 to 9 and he’d actually scored in the top 1% nationwide. He decided to apply for dental school because of the test and quickly realized that he really did love the field. The rest, they say, is history.
